How to Join Masters?

How do I get started?

If you are a current YMCA member, we invite you to show up to any of the scheduled workouts and try us out. If you are not a current YMCA member, you may come to one free trial workout. Out of town visitors must pay a $10.00 guest fee at the front desk.

What are the fees?

Non-YMCA Member Fees

Currently, all Masters swimmers must be a member of the YMCA of Greenville. View our membership prices, and Branch Membership Application, or PATH Membership Application. For more information, please call your local YMCA of Greenville location.

What about USMS?

Registration with United States Masters Swimming (USMS) is encouraged. The annual membership is $35.00. You can register online with a credit card. Click on the register button below to get started. By joining USMS, you will receive the Swimmer Magazine six times a year which contains great articles on nutrition, triathlon training, swimming tips, and feature articles on swimmers just like you throughout the United States. More importantly, by registering, you are supporting a healthy lifestyle through aquatic exercise. Being a USMS registered swimmer allows you to participate in USMS sanctioned events such as swim meets, open water races and virtual challenges.
