How to Join Masters?
How do I get started?
If you are a current YMCA member, we invite you to show up to any of the scheduled workouts at the outdoor pool and try us out. If you are not a current YMCA member, you must pay a $10.00 guest fee at the front desk and show up at any workout for one free trial practice.
DON'T FORGET: Please fill out a YMCA Masters registration form and return to the Caine Halter YMCA front desk.
What are the fees?

Currently, all Masters swimmers must be a member of the Caine Halter Family YMCA. View our membership prices, and membership application, or for more information, please call the YMCA at 864-679-9622.
Where do I pay?
All fees for the YMCA Masters program are to be paid in full at the front desk of the Caine Halter Family YMCA
What pool does the YMCA Masters use?
The YMCA Masters program uses the outdoor pool at the Caine Halter Family YMCA. This pool is covered with a bubble during the winter months and is kept at 80-82 degrees. The length of the pool is 25 yards.
What about USMS?
Registration with United States Masters Swimming (USMS) is encouraged. The annual membership is $35.00. You can register online with a credit card. Click on the register button below to get started. By joining USMS, you will receive the Swimmer Magazine six times a year which contains great articles on nutrition, triathlon training, swimming tips, and feature articles on swimmers just like you throughout the United States. More importantly, by registering, you are supporting a healthy lifestyle through aquatic exercise. Being a USMS registered swimmer allows you to participate in USMS sanctioned events such as swim meets, open water races and virtual challenges.
